Russia attacked Ukraine from three directions - how the air defense coped.

Last night, the Ukrainian air defense forces effectively repelled the attack, destroying 34 enemy drones. The aggression from Russia came simultaneously from three directions. All these events were confirmed by official sources.

What Russia used to attack Ukraine on the night of July 8

Russian troops launched four S-300/400 surface-to-air missiles from the Kursk region and 54 strike drones of the Shahed type and imitation drones from the directions of Kursk, Orel (RF territory), as well as from Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.

As of 08:00 in the morning, 34 drones had been successfully neutralized. Specifically, 26 UAVs were shot down by fire damage means, and another 8 - by electronic warfare means. Despite this, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that hits by enemy drones were recorded in five locations.

Ukraine is under constant pressure from attacks by Russia. Just yesterday, the air defense forces successfully defended, shooting down 75 enemy targets. Meanwhile, Russia's aggression affects not only military objects but also civilians - this is confirmed by the incident in Kharkiv, where a drone attack with thermobaric munitions was recorded.
