Hakan Fidan, the Turkish Foreign Minister, proposed to organize a meeting of the heads of state of Ukraine, Russia, and the USA with the participation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after negotiations in Istanbul.
During a press conference in Kyiv with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Hakan Fidan emphasized the importance of preliminary negotiations in Istanbul and expressed hope for a further successful development of the situation. He stressed that the continuation of negotiations could yield concrete results and help resolve the conflict. It was also noted that technical work during upcoming delegation meetings is crucial for achieving positive changes.
Fidan urged the parties to quickly stop the negative consequences of the war and resolve the conflict without unnecessary delays, pointing to the difficult situation in Ukraine due to occupation and the hardship experienced by the Ukrainian people.
A meeting to resolve the conflict
