Coins with a denomination of 1 hryvnia - which stamps are worth a lot.

Some Ukrainians are interested in collecting coins, considering it an interesting hobby. Meanwhile, there are those who collect rare specimens for the purpose of profitable resale. Not all coins are valued by numismatists, so it is necessary to know the characteristics of the coin for correct valuation.
1 hryvnia 1992
One of the most expensive is the old metal coin. An interesting feature of the coin from this year is the absence of an inscription on the edge, as minting was done without it. According to the 'Coins-berries' portal, there are various stamps of 1 hryvnia from 1992 that have high value.
- 1.1AAh, smooth edge - from 12,000 to 37,000 hryvnias;
- 1.1AA1, on the edge 1992 - negotiable price;
- 1.1AA1, on the edge 1994 - about 29,000 hryvnias;
- 1.1AA1.1, on the edge 1995 - from 11,000 to 20,000 hryvnias;
- 1.1AA2, on the edge 1995 - approximately 40,000 hryvnias;
- 2AAh, (re-issue from 5 kopecks from the USSR) - 80,000 hryvnias.
1 hryvnia 1995
The 1 hryvnia coin from 1995 is in circulation, but due to its small circulation, it has become very rare and has increased the interest of numismatists. Some varieties of this coin can already be found in everyday use. Varieties can be determined by the size of the letters on the edge: in 1AB1.1 the font is thick, in 1AB1.2 - thin.
The price of other varieties fluctuates:
- 1BAh, smooth edge - from 7,000 to 9,000 hryvnias;
- 2AAh, smooth edge - from 2,800 to 5,600 hryvnias;
- 2AA1.1, narrow rim - from 1,400 to 2,800 hryvnias;
- 2AA2, three dots on the edge - from 11,000 to 16,000 hryvnias.
Experts from the 'Coins-berries' portal noted that it is possible to produce very rare coins with inscriptions from 1995 on the obverse and 1992, 1994 or 1996 on the edge. These special specimens have an unknown quantity in circulation.
What else should Ukrainians know
There are also coins, such as 25 kopecks from 1992, that can be sold for a significant sum. For example, the variety 5.1DAh costs from 5,000 to 7,000 hryvnias. For numismatics enthusiasts, an interesting new commemorative coin from the NBU dedicated to the police, which has a denomination of 10 hryvnias and was issued in a circulation of 10 million copies, may be noteworthy.
Collecting rare coins in Ukraine can be not only an exciting hobby but also a source of possible additional income. The National Bank of Ukraine issues commemorative coins that quickly gain popularity among collectors. Not all money can be called just currency - some coins can have a value greater than their nominal value.Read also
