Ukrainian forces expand foothold in Kursk region - ISW.

Ukrainian forces continue to storm the Glushkivsky district in the Kursk region and expand their foothold. According to geolocation frames, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have advanced east of Krasnooktyabr'skoye. This is stated in a report by the Institute for the Study of War.
Russian sources, including the Russian Ministry of Defense, claim to have repelled attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Vesely, Medvezhy, and Novy Put, as well as carried out a mechanized assault on Ukrainian positions to the southeast of Korenevo. Russian 'war correspondents' also report the advancement of Russian forces to the south of Durovka and along the Korenevo-Sheptukhovka-Safonivka highway.
Spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Dmytrashkivsky stated that Ukrainian forces have halted the 'Russian counteroffensive' in the Kursk region and stabilized the situation, although ISW has not yet confirmed a complete halt to the Russian advance.
'ISW has not yet observed Ukrainian forces completely halting the Russian advance in the Kursk region, although Dmytrashkivsky may refer to events beyond the information available within the constraints of data collection for this report,' the analysts write.
ISW analysts continue to monitor Russian counterattacks in the Kursk region, but have not yet witnessed large-scale combat actions indicative of the start of a massive counteroffensive operation aimed at fully displacing Ukrainian forces from the region.
It is worth noting that strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on enemy warehouses could destroy part of the Russians' reserves - ISW.
