Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on the consequences of the missile strike in Sumy, which was carried out by Russia. According to the head of state, as a result of this attack, 35 people died and 119 were injured. Many of the injured are in hospitals, including many children, and their condition is serious. Rescue work and debris removal are currently underway.

It was noted that more than a month ago Ukraine approved the proposal from the United States for a ceasefire, but Russia rejected this agreement. Zelensky believes that the war continues due to Putin's position and the lack of pressure on Russia.

After the shelling of Sumy, many countries and organizations expressed their support for Ukraine. The President emphasized that the world knows the truth about what happened, and Russia will be forced to peace as the aggressor. There was also information about a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, where issues regarding the development of the Ukrainian army and preparation for a peacekeeping contingent after the war were discussed.

The President outlined the foreign policy priorities for the coming weeks, including enhanced air defense, strengthening the resilience of the state and the Armed Forces, as well as ramping up diplomatic efforts.
