Two harsh conditions set: Poles have started another strike at the border with Ukraine.

Polish farmers began a strike on Saturday morning, November 23, near the 'Medyka - Shehyni' crossing point. The protest is due to two reasons: the failure to meet tax requirements and signing a free trade agreement with MERCOSUR countries. Farmers blocked national road 28 and do not allow trucks from Ukraine to pass. They only let trucks from Poland to Ukraine through at the rate of one per hour. The police stated that they are ensuring the passage on national roads and routes within the city. A regional representative reported on the preparation of a law to preserve tax rates. Farmers affected by weather events could seek assistance from the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture. If the free trade agreement is not signed, farmers intend to protest around the clock until the end of the year. The strike began at 10:00 AM. Ukrainians have been warned about increased controls and fines in Poland.
'We want to pressure those in power so that this agreement does not happen,' said the strike organizer.
