In Ukraine, citrus fruits have sharply increased in price: lemons are already 100 hryvnias.

The Ukrainian citrus market is experiencing a negative trend: oranges and lemons have become more expensive, while mandarins have slightly decreased in price.
According to 'Hvylya', the average price of regular oranges has risen to 63.85 UAH per kilogram. Premium-class oranges are more expensive - 86.80 UAH.
The situation with lemons is even worse: their average price has increased to 100.80 UAH per kilogram.
Mandarins have decreased in price: regular mandarins now cost 71.95 UAH, Spanish mandarins - 124.90 UAH, and clementines - 69.90 UAH.
The cheapest Egyptian oranges cost 59.90 UAH per kilogram.
Experts associate the price increase with the global crisis in citrus production. In the 2024/25 marketing year, a reduction in global production of all main categories of citrus fruits is expected.
The situation in Turkey is especially difficult, where due to weather conditions, the production of oranges and lemons has decreased by 30%, while mandarins and grapefruits have decreased by 35%.
Market analysts do not forecast a decrease in prices for citrus fruits in the near future.
Also, we remind you that gardeners are massively selling off apples.
