In Ukraine, socially significant products have risen in price: new prices for sugar, bread, and flour.


In Ukraine, there are slight changes in the prices of basic social food products compared to the previous month.
According to the "Hvylya" portal based on monitoring by "Minfin", the change in the cost of sugar, flour, and bread was studied in September 2024 compared to August of the same year.
The price of sugar has practically not changed and decreased by only one kopeck per kilogram - to 36.52 hryvnia. In September of the previous year, a kilogram of sugar was cheaper - 34.46 hryvnia.
The price of flour showed a slight increase: a one-kilogram package rose by 1.58 hryvnia - from 26.72 hryvnia to 28.30 hryvnia, and a two-kilogram package by 3.37 hryvnia - from 49.33 hryvnia to 52.70 hryvnia. Prices for these same items last year were 22.54 hryvnia and 43.75 hryvnia respectively.
The situation with bread is mixed: the price of regular wheat bread weighing 650 grams remained unchanged, while "Tsar Khlib" weighing 600 grams rose by 3.40 hryvnia - from 30.41 hryvnia to 33.81 hryvnia. In 2023, this bread cost Ukrainians 32.96 hryvnia.
