In Odesa, girls suspected of car arson for money detained.

In Odesa, police detained two girls suspected of ordering car arsons. The suspects, aged 17 and 18, set fire to one crossover and attempted to ignite another civilian car. This was reported by the Odesa police.
According to the investigation, during the curfew, a Kia car caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and informed the police. Later, law enforcement established that two Odessa residents, 17 and 18 years old, were involved in the arson.
'The underage girl, during the search for 'easy' earnings in one of the messaging app channels, was recruited for monetary gain to carry out the arsons of military and police cars. She was also allowed to set fire to any car, which was previously marked with a white cross. Agreeing, the young girl recruited her 18-year-old friend,' the statement said.
Police reported that during the first arson, the girls found the required car, marked it with a cross, doused it with flammable liquid, and set it on fire. They recorded the entire process on video on their phone for confirmation. Then they intended to set fire to another civilian car, a Renault, but were detained.
Law enforcement noted that fuel and lubricants, a lighter, adhesive tape, and other items intended for setting the car on fire were seized from the detainees. Mobile phones with correspondence with the customer and other evidence relevant to the case were also found.
The detainees were notified of suspicion under Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, for which they face up to 10 years in prison. They were placed under round-the-clock house arrest.
