In April, May, and June of this year, 'Open Football Festivals' will take place, organized by the Ukrainian Football Association and regional football associations. These events were developed by young leaders and volunteers of the 'Open Football Lessons' project. The main goal of the festivals is to support children affected by the war and to engage them in sports. Playing football will provide psychological support to these children and help them connect with peers from host communities. According to information from regional football associations, the following festivals are set to take place in spring and early summer of 2025: Pisochyn (Kharkiv region), Synelnykove (Dnipropetrovsk region), Dnipro (Donetsk OFA), Mizhhirya (Transcarpathian region), Ivano-Frankivsk, Smila (Cherkasy region), Kalynivka (Kyiv region), Stara Syniava (Khmelnytskyi region), Podilsk (Odesa region), Lutsk, Chernivtsi, Kostopil (Rivne region), Poltava, Zboriv (Ternopil region), Chemer (Chernihiv region), Vinnytsia Khutory (Vinnytsia region), Zhovkva (Lviv region), Kropyvnytskyi, Kyiv, Korosten (Zhytomyr region). It is also worth noting that the semifinals of the Champions League took place. 'Real' Madrid lost to 'Arsenal' with a score of 1:2 (1:5 on aggregate). 'Arsenal' scored the first goal, but 'Real' managed to equalize. However, 'Arsenal' scored the second goal at the end of the match, allowing them to advance to the semifinals. 'Inter' Milan also drew with 'Bayern' 2:2 (4:3 on aggregate) and secured their victory. The semifinals of the Champions League: - 'Arsenal' will play against 'Paris Saint-Germain'; - 'Inter' Milan will play against 'Barcelona'. The first matches of the semifinals will take place on April 29 and 30, 2025, with the return matches on May 6 and 7, 2025. The Champions League final will be held on May 31, 2025, at the 'Allianz Arena' in Munich.
