The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, spoke out against a new aid package for Ukraine during a conference in Washington. He categorically stated that there is no appetite for supporting the conditions of a protracted war. However, this position met with loud disapproval from the audience.

Nevertheless, Johnson emphasized the need to end the conflict and pointed out that he has the support of European allies. He also backed President Trump in the goal of ending the conflict.
