In the Pokrovsk District, the occupiers shot dead four Ukrainian soldiers.


Four Ukrainian prisoners of war were shot by the Russians in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region. The attack on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine occurred in the village of Petrivka on November 22, 2024. Four Ukrainian soldiers were forced to surrender during the assault, but the Russians immediately opened fire on them with automatic weapons.
"Deliberate murder of prisoners of war is a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions and qualifies as a serious international crime. Investigative actions are currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the crime and the individuals involved in its commission," emphasizes the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The Office of the Prosecutor General also reported that in Donetsk region, Russian troops shot two Ukrainian prisoners of war near the village of Vuhledar. This war crime occurred on October 2, 2024.
Ukrainian prisoners of war were also shot yesterday in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation and in Donetsk region.
Earlier, a video appeared on the internet showing the shooting of two prisoners of war in the Kursk region.
