In every region, training centers for national resistance will be created: what is known about them.


The government of Ukraine has approved a decision to create centers for training citizens for national resistance in all regions of the country. The main goal of these centers is to prepare citizens to defend national interests. This was reported by the Office of the President.
The decision was made according to the instruction of President Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with representatives of civil society. The resolution was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, and other military organizations.
According to the plans, regional councils will be responsible for creating these centers with the support of regional military administrations. The Territorial Defense Forces will determine the training program. When appointing the heads of the centers and instructors, veterans will be given priority.
Training and certification of national resistance instructors will be conducted by military higher educational institutions. Iryna Vereshchuk, deputy head of the Office of the President, noted that training civilian citizens is important for strengthening the country's defense capability and supporting society.
Creation of centers for training citizens for national resistance in all regions of Ukraine
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution that defines the process of creating and functioning of centers for training citizens for national resistance. The Office of the President reported this.
This initiative is implemented by the executive power according to the instruction of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a meeting with representatives of civil society. The document was developed by Iryna Vereshchuk, deputy head of the Office of the President, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, regional military administrations, and civil and volunteer organizations.
According to the resolution, the heads of the centers will be appointed by regional councils upon the recommendation of regional military administrations. Regional military administrations will also be responsible for monitoring, control, and evaluation of the activity of these centers with quarterly reporting to the Ministry of Defense.
The Territorial Defense Forces will determine the standard training program. When appointing heads of centers and instructors, preference will be given to veterans. All national resistance instructors will undergo specialized training and certification in military higher educational institutions.
'Training civilian citizens to stand up against the enemy is an important component of our defense capability and one of the factors of deterring the enemy. It is also one of the factors of resilience and unity of society,' emphasized Iryna Vereshchuk.
