Three servicemen will be posthumously awarded the title 'Hero of Ukraine'
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that three Ukrainian soldiers will be posthumously awarded the title 'Hero of Ukraine'. Among them are Colonel of Aviation Dmytro Fischer, 'Azov' fighter Nazarii Hryntsevych, and warrior of the 3rd Assault Brigade Vitalii Karvatskyi.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, during his evening address on Monday, July 7.
The head of state emphasized the importance of honoring the memory of fallen soldiers and recognizing them with state awards.
'I just spoke about three such guys — Ukrainian warriors. Military pilot, Colonel Dmytro Fischer, 'Azov' fighter Nazarii Hryntsevych, warrior of the 3rd assault brigade Vitalii Karvatskyi. Documents are being prepared for the title of Hero of Ukraine — unfortunately, posthumously. Glory to all our warriors!' — said the President of Ukraine.
We remind that on July 6, on the Day of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky met with naval servicemen who received state awards from the President. It is also known that on July 9, Volodymyr Zelensky plans to meet with Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
For honorary Ukrainian servicemen, the title 'Hero of Ukraine' is posthumously awarded for their courage and service to the Motherland. The President emphasizes the importance of honoring the memory of fallen soldiers and awarding them for their years of service.Read also
