Supermarkets Updated Prices on Pork: Where to Find the Cheapest Brisket and Shashlik.

Ukrainian stores are changing prices on pork, so we analyzed current prices on popular cuts in networks such as Auchan, Metro, Novus, and Megamarket. We closely examined prices on brisket, shoulder, neck, belly, ribs, and shashlik.

The average price for brisket is 211.45 UAH per kilogram. In the cheapest store Auchan, it can be purchased for 199.90 UAH, while in the most expensive store Megamarket - for 229.00 UAH. In March 2025, the average price was lower - 187.19 UAH.

Pork shoulder currently costs 229.87 UAH per kilogram. The price is set at Novus (229.00 UAH), Megamarket (234.00 UAH), and Metro (226.82 UAH). Compared to March 2025, when the price was 196.55 UAH, the cost is now higher.

Pork neck is the most expensive item with a price of 326.77 UAH per kilogram. It can be purchased for 319.00 UAH at Novus, for 339.00 UAH at Megamarket, and for 322.30 UAH at Metro. Compared to March 2025, when the average price was 266.70 UAH, the price is currently higher.

Pork belly currently costs 214.00 UAH per kilogram. It can be purchased for 229.00 UAH at Megamarket and for 199.00 UAH at Novus. The price for belly also exceeds the average price in March 2025 - 189.04 UAH.

Pork ribs also cost 214.00 UAH per kilogram. Novus offers them for 199.00 UAH, while Megamarket - for 229.00 UAH. The price for ribs is also higher than in March 2025 - 182.36 UAH.

Pork shashlik has an average price of 263.50 UAH per kilogram. The lowest price is 199.00 UAH at Novus, while the highest is 327.50 UAH at Metro. The price at Megamarket is 264.00 UAH. The current average price for shashlik is slightly lower than in March 2025 - 264.17 UAH.

Overall, current prices for most types of pork in the listed stores exceed the average prices of March 2025, except for shashlik. There is also a significant difference in product costs between stores.

It is also worth mentioning the prices for eggs 'Yasensvit' and 'Kvocshka'.
