Russians attacked Kharkiv with drones, fires broke out (updated).

In the evening of April 2, Russian troops launched an attack on the city of Kharkiv. The assault was carried out using strike drones. This was reported by the website 'Glavcom' citing local authorities.

The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, was the first to report the attack. He stated that Kharkiv was again under attacks by 'Shaheds'. Later, he reported that a strike had been inflicted on the private sector of the Kyiv district.

At 22:30, Terekhov wrote that over the past 40 minutes, 14 strikes had been carried out on the city of Kharkiv.

The head of the Kharkiv ODA, Oleg Synegubov, reported that Russian troops had struck drones in Derhachi. Preliminary reports indicate one casualty.

It was noted that it is important not to post information about the operation of air defense systems online.

Synegubov reported that within just one hour, the enemy used 17 strike drones of the 'Shahed' type. Most strikes occurred in the Kyiv district. As a result of the shelling, local fires broke out.

Fortunately, no one was harmed. Workers of the relevant services continue to eliminate the consequences of the city shelling.

It is worth recalling that on the night of April 2, Russian troops massively shelled Kharkiv with strike drones. Between 13 and 15 impacts were recorded in the Hoolodnоhirs'kyi district of the city. Most impacts occurred in the industrial zone.

According to available information, eight people were injured: four women aged 40 to 51, a 53-year-old man, a 16-year-old girl, a 9-month-old baby, and a 7-year-old boy. All of them showed acute stress reactions.
