Russia Restores BRDM-2 Armored Vehicles for the War in Ukraine: What This Indicates.

Analysts, using satellite images, have noticed that the Russians have begun withdrawing BRDM-2 armored vehicles from their military depots. This indicates that the occupiers lack armored vehicles on the front, reports Defence24.
It is noted that the BRDM-2s were in long-term storage of military equipment with the numbers: 22, 111, 6018. Some of these vehicles, after decommissioning, are sent for repair and upgrade at the 103rd armored repair plant.
The mass return of preserved BRDM-2s indicates that there is a growing shortage of other armored vehicles on the front, such as BTR-80 and BTR-82 armored personnel carriers, the publication notes.
The publication reports that the Russians are experiencing significant losses and are using equipment reserves accumulated during the Soviet era.
Recall that Russian forces are gaining momentum in the western part of the Donetsk region in the conditions of the onset of autumn impassability. The occupiers are trying to advance through open fields before the rains set in, in order to secure positions before the weather conditions worsen.
