Due to the aftermath of the bad weather, on July 8, the border crossing operations at the 'Dzyvinkove - Lonyha' crossing point on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border have been temporarily suspended. This was reported by 'Hlavkom' referencing the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Please take this information into account when planning travel abroad. For crossing the border, we recommend using the nearest crossing points - 'Kosyno' or 'Velyka Palad’ - say the border guards.

Temporary stop at 'Solotvyno - Sighetu Marmației' on the border with Romania

At the 'Solotvyno - Sighetu Marmației' crossing point (on the border with Romania), the processing of vehicles will be temporarily suspended. 'Please take this information into account when planning your trips. From July 7 and tentatively until September 3, 2025, repair work - reconstruction of the bridge over the Tisza River - will be conducted here,' the border guards emphasize.

We remind you that by 2030 Ukraine plans to update 29 border crossing points and build 17 new ones. Additionally, there are plans to improve the 'eQueue' system. It is currently operational at 28 crossing points.

During the aftermath of the bad weather at the border with Hungary and Romania, the crossings at 'Dzyvinkove - Lonyha' and 'Solotvyno - Sighetu Marmației' have been temporarily suspended, respectively. For the convenience of passengers, it is recommended to use other crossing points and to take these restrictions into account when planning the trip. Meanwhile, work continues in Ukraine to update the border crossing points with the aim of improving border crossing and convenience for travelers.
