The commander of the volunteer battalion 'Georgian Legion' Mamuka Mamulashvili believes that everyone who has gone to the Eastern-Western corridor of the armed forces should be given a second or third chance. He claims that people should be allowed to correct their mistake.

The commander shared that there have been no such cases in his battalion, but he emphasized the necessity of providing such individuals with the opportunity to amend their mistake.

'In our volunteer formation, the guys who came to fight from Georgia are ideologically motivated and understand well what they are doing, why they came, and why they should put their heads on the line for Ukraine,' Mamulashvili said.

According to him, adapting to combat conditions is a complex process, especially for those who are not professional military personnel. It is a significant psychological burden, and people need Time to adapt. Only after they realize the importance of supporting their comrades and defending Ukraine do they return to service.

It is noted that military personnel can return from the SZO by the end of summer. Now this process has become even simpler, requiring just an appeal through the 'Army+' application.
