Pensions, Assistance for Refugees and Aid: How Important Changes Will Affect Ukrainians in Poland.


Ukrainians were informed about how social payments in Poland will change in 2025.
According to reports, social payments for Ukrainians will increase in Poland in 2025.
The indexing of these payments is a mechanism for protection against inflation, aimed at maintaining the purchasing power of people receiving social support.
In the next year, the following will be indexed:
Pensions:
- The minimum pension amount will increase by 6.78%, from 1780.96 to 1901.71 zlotys.
Payments for full and partial disability:
- Payments for full disability will increase from 1780.96 to 1901.71 zlotys.
- Payments for partial disability will increase to 1426.28 zlotys.
Additionally, the government is expanding the social support program for elderly people and low-income citizens. Moreover, single individuals will have the opportunity to receive support with an income of up to 1010 zlotys, while families will qualify with an income of up to 823 zlotys.
The maximum amount of aid will amount to 1229 zlotys.
Foreigners who have received refugee status in Poland will receive increased financial assistance.
- The minimum amount of assistance will increase to 950, and the maximum will rise to 1679 zlotys.
Support for caregivers of people with disabilities will also increase from 2988 to 3287 zlotys.
The indexing of payments will be carried out in 2025 in two stages: short-term payments from January 1, and long-term payments from March 1.
