Odesa shelling: teacher and her husband killed by enemy fire.


A terrible tragedy occurred in Odesa - during the night shelling, the lecturer of the Mykhailivskyi Lyceum, Kateryna Borsynska, and her husband Valentyn were killed. This was reported by the city mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
“As a result of enemy shelling, a person of the most peaceful profession in the world was killed: teacher, social educator of the Mykhailivskyi Lyceum Borsynska Kateryna and her husband Valentyn,” noted Mayor Trukhanov.
The mayor expressed condolences to the family and the entire educational community of the city: “We share this loss together with the educational family of our city. Sincere condolences to the relatives and friends.”
Strike on Odesa: casualties and injuries
Near the place of the tragedy, enemy forces struck Odesa. As a result of the shelling, 2 people were killed and 14 were injured, including three children. In total, 6 injured are hospitalized, and 3 are in serious condition, including one child; others are receiving outpatient treatment. Medical personnel are doing everything possible to save the life of each victim.
The tragic event in Odesa led to the death of a lecturer and her husband, as well as numerous injuries among local residents. City authorities and medical workers are making efforts to provide the necessary assistance and save the lives of the affected.
