New regulation on medical evacuation for military personnel

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a regulation aimed at improving the medical evacuation system for servicemen injured due to Russian aggression. This initiative focuses on expanding the capabilities for providing assistance to wounded soldiers and ensuring rapid evacuation to appropriate medical facilities.

According to the new model, in some situations, patients will be evacuated directly to medical facilities that have the necessary equipment and qualified specialists, so as to avoid unnecessary delays.

The wounded are planned to be transported to various hospitals that can accept them, to avoid overcrowding in certain facilities. The leadership of coordinating the provision of assistance will be entrusted to the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance of Ukraine and regional centers that will be responsible for the transportation of the wounded between facilities.

Live and effective assistance for wounded soldiers

The first evacuation measures will include the participation of military medics in collaboration with coordinators to ensure prompt and effective assistance to wounded soldiers after they are injured and before specialized medical care is provided.

Improving the medical evacuation system for servicemen aims to provide swift and effective assistance in the event of armed aggression and ensure adequate treatment for injured soldiers.

The regulation approved by the Cabinet of Ministers is aimed at improving the medical assistance system for wounded military personnel who have suffered as a result of Russian aggression. The initiative entails the quick and coordinated evacuation of the injured to appropriate medical facilities equipped with the necessary equipment and qualified personnel to ensure emergency assistance.
