Last night, the Russian Federation launched an attack on Odesa using 12 drones. Civil buildings were damaged from the shelling, and dozens of local residents' cars were destroyed as a result of the fire. Information also includes one person injured as a result of the attack.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service and the mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov.

Consequences of the Attack

The drone attack caused a fire in a parking lot in one of the city's districts, where cars and an administrative building were damaged. The fire was quickly extinguished by rescuers. Additionally, the explosion damaged windows of high-rise buildings and destroyed a supermarket and a gym.

A 41-year-old woman sustained blast injuries and was taken to the hospital. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance on site.

'The enemy attacked Odesa with strike drones. Some of the drones flew directly towards the city. As a result of the attack, glass was shattered in the area of high-rise buildings, and cars burned in the nearby parking lot.'

Prosecutor's Investigation

The Prosecutor's Office of Odesa region has opened proceedings under part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (committing war crimes). Law enforcement officers have recorded all the destructions and damages caused as a result of the attack. Documentation of the consequences of the attack is ongoing.

As a result of the drone attack by the Russian Federation on Odesa, significant material damages and one injury among local residents were recorded. The Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation into the commission of war crimes, and all consequences of the event are being thoroughly documented by law enforcement agencies.
