Passes for Access to the Border Area Are Introduced in Sumy Region.

A pass system is being introduced in Sumy region for access to border areas
In Sumy region, the authorities are introducing a pass system for access to border areas. This was announced by the head of the Sumy City Military Administration Oleksiy Drozdenko during a telethon broadcast.
According to the head of the Sumy CMA, passes are being introduced against the backdrop of people's attempts to return home after evacuation.
Individual residents are trying to return to their homes. However, the local authorities advise people not to expose themselves to danger.
«We strongly discourage such ideas. Moreover, already at the regional level, we are deploying a whole pass system for those who live there, have relatives or similar circumstances. Therefore, there is no absolute lockdown, although we advise not to expose yourselves to danger», – Drozdenko said.
Recall, due to the increased intensity of hostilities, the activation of sabotage and reconnaissance groups, and enemy special operations forces, restrictions on movement in the border zone have been introduced in Sumy region.
It is noted that since the beginning of the evacuation from Sumy region, nearly 20,000 people have been evacuated, about 2,000 of them are children.
As reported, the State Border Guard Service has started issuing documents for the right to stay in a 5 km wide border strip from the state border line.
