Expansion of the network of driverless taxis in Ukraine

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced the launch of completely driverless taxis on the streets of Austin, Texas in June. The first 10 vehicles are planned to be put into operation, and if the project starts successfully, it will be scaled up to a thousand cars. Musk explained that they are starting with a small number, gradually increasing the scale of the project.

“We are paying very close attention to what the cars are doing, and as trust grows, this will require less and less,” Musk noted.

Tesla employees will remotely manage the movement of the cars, limiting their operational area. Tesla's driverless driving technology relies on a system of cameras and computer vision, artificial intelligence, rather than sensors. This will ensure the safety of passengers.

In April, Tesla's car sales in Europe fell sharply due to competition from Chinese electric vehicles and protests against the billionaire's actions. This situation will force the company to expand more actively and improve its services.
