Macron and Starmer plan a joint trip to the USA with Zelensky to present a peace plan to Trump.

Macron and Starmer will discuss with Trump the resolve regarding Ukraine
French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer are preparing for a trip to Washington together with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky next week. This will be a joint visit aimed at demonstrating unity around a peace plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine. This is reported by the Daily Mail.
Initially, Prime Minister Starmer warned Zelensky that it was necessary to restore relations with Trump after the conflict at the White House to ensure U.S. support for the peace agreement. It is known that Trump's decision to suspend military aid to Ukraine surprised the British government, but the American president's position could not be changed.
The Wall Street Journal is currently examining the extent of the aid suspension. Supplies of ammunition through the Polish border have been stopped and intelligence sharing has been halted.
The suspension of American aid immediately affected Starmer's plan for Ukraine, which aimed at 'continuing the supply of military assistance to Ukraine during the war'. Nevertheless, the British government will enrich itself with all efforts to convince the U.S. to resume supplies.
Regarding the peace plan, initially, Macron proposed a month-long pause in hostilities in the air and at sea, but now an open proposal is expected. Starmer hopes to convince Trump to guarantee 'support' for security from the U.S., allowing the UK, France, and other countries to send their troops to support peace in Ukraine without the immediate risk of an attack from Russian forces.
