The tickets of Ukrzaliznytsia no longer include text in Russian.

The tickets of Ukrzaliznytsia will no longer have text in the Russian language. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development, Tymur Tkachenko.
Now the information on the tickets will be duplicated only in Ukrainian and English. Tkachenko stated that the external appearance of the tickets is not final and it will be improved.
Moreover, new document templates for printing at self-service terminals have been approved, which will allow the introduction of new services for railway passengers.
According to Tkachenko, this is an important step in the framework of European integration.
Refusal to duplicate in Russian is not just symbolic, but also a practical step to support the Ukrainian language as the state language, - said Tkachenko.
At the same Time, the use of the English language contributes to integration into the international space, improves convenience for foreign passengers, and demonstrates European service standards, the official noted.
We remind you that Ukrzaliznytsia has scheduled additional trains for Christmas and New Year holidays. Tickets can be purchased through the mobile app, on the website, or at ticket offices.
