Investors urged Svyrydenko to support tax incentives for the construction of wind power plants.

Investors in wind energy call on the government to support a bill that provides for tax incentives for the import of energy equipment for the construction of wind power plants. They believe that without such incentives, Ukraine will not be able to achieve its renewable energy development goals. Tax incentives for all types of energy equipment, except wind energy, discriminate against the sector and may hinder the achievement of the declared share of renewable energy in total energy consumption by 2030. The bill will also promote the increase in wind generation capacity and attract investors to this area. In addition, it will support the stability of Ukraine's energy system and help restore its energy potential. Investors also warn that the lack of support for wind energy may lead to increased electricity problems in the future.
