FBI investigates facts of sending threatening letters to US election commission members.

In the United States of America, representatives of election commissions in six states received threatening letters.
The FBI and the Postal Inspection Service are investigating these cases, reports NBC News.
As a senior law enforcement official told American media, currently no dangerous material has been found in any of the packages that election officials in at least six states received by mail.
Meanwhile, the FBI has urged US election commissions to be vigilant after threatening letters containing suspicious substances were sent to the offices of several state secretaries across the country.
It is noted that the "targets" of unknown senders were state secretaries, attorney general offices, and state election offices in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Tennessee, Wyoming, and Oklahoma.
On the return address on the packages as a sender identification was indicated "U.S.T.E.A.", which stands for "U.S. Traitors Extermination Army".
Yesterday, due to such an incident in Kansas, the Secretary of State's office was evacuated, as well as offices in Iowa and Oklahoma.
In a statement, the FBI noted that the Bureau "is working with our partners to determine how many letters were sent, identify the individual or individuals responsible for the letters, and ascertain the motives behind the letters".
In a joint statement from the FBI and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, it is emphasized that "law enforcement agencies are diligently working to intercept any additional letters before they are delivered".
Regarding recommendations for election bodies due to the packages, American law enforcement officials state that "all suspicious substances should be considered potentially dangerous, and they need to be handled according to established safety protocols".
The FBI also stated that they are working to determine the total number of sent letters.
It should be noted that threats to election officials in the US were received just a few weeks before Americans go to the polls on November 15th to vote in the presidential elections.
