The accident occurred on May 11 on the A8 motorway in France, while the 'Monaco-3' team minibus was returning from a match.
Farewell to former forward of the Latvian national team
Andrey Prokhorenko, a former forward of the Latvian national team, passed away at the age of 43 from injuries caused by a malignant tumor that was detected at the end of 2024.
He made his debut for the Latvian national team in 2002, participating in Euro 2004, playing 32 matches and scoring 4 goals.
Sadness also engulfed the esports community with the death of legendary Polish gamer Maciej 'Shushei' Ratusznyk. The cause of his death remains unknown.
