Former Azov brigade chief Krotevych received an order after the awarding incident.

Bohdan Krotevych received the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Order
According to the information from the 'Glavkom' website, the former chief of staff of the 12th Special Forces Brigade 'Azov', Bohdan Krotevych, received the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Order of the II degree in accordance with presidential decree No. 351/2025.
Earlier, Krotevych was surprised by the absence of his name on the list of awardees mentioned on the president's website. He suggested that he was omitted from the decree due to his criticism of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
'On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, my friend Kalyna - the deputy commander of the brigade - congratulated me, sending a screenshot from the official website of the president, where I was on the list of awardees. Ladies and gentlemen, the very next day my name simply disappeared from the decree. Why did this happen? Maybe because of my clear stance on replacing the Commander-in-Chief. Although, to be honest, I see no other reasons. But once again I realized - there is still a lot to change in this system',
Krotevych believes that President Volodymyr Zelensky personally cannot make changes to the specified decree, and therefore noted that there might be someone in the president's office who has the power to 'correct' documents without the consent of the head of state.
Krotevych has repeatedly called for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to resign, believing that he poses a threat to the lives of Ukrainian soldiers due to his incompetence. He is also against a ceasefire, arguing that it is necessary to make changes in the structure of the Armed Forces and to continue the offensive.
