The Russian authorities reported a large-scale drone attack
On the night of May 6, the Russian authorities announced a large-scale drone attack. As a result, an air alert was declared in at least nine regions. Some drones flew over Moscow. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing local Telegram channels.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that the air defense supposedly shot down 19 drones that were heading towards the capital of Russia. One of them, according to him, was destroyed over the southern districts of the city, and its debris fell on Kashirskoye Highway.
The rapid development of events raised concerns in the international community, as these actions violate international law and threaten the peaceful coexistence of countries. The reaction of global leaders and further steps to resolve the situation remain under close scrutiny.
Attacks on Kharkiv and Odesa
On the night of May 6, Russia carried out an attack on Kharkiv using 20 drones. As a result of the Russian strike, a private house caught fire. In addition, the Russians also launched an attack on the Odesa region with drones.
Due to the Russian strike on the Odesa region, several civilian infrastructure objects were damaged, including private residential houses. In some places, fires broke out, which are currently being extinguished by rescuers.
