US State Department names reason for ambassador's resignation in Ukraine.

The US State Department officially announced that Bridget Brink is concluding her work as the ambassador of the United States in Ukraine.
According to CNN, a representative of the American diplomatic agency explained this decision by the duration of her stay in Ukraine: 'She has been there for three years - that is a long Time in a combat zone. And, to be honest, the war is taking too long. The real question is whether the Russians and Ukrainians are willing to do everything necessary to end this war.'
Information about the conclusion of the American diplomat's mission appeared earlier on Thursday from several media outlets that cited their own sources.
Bridget Brink led the US embassy in Ukraine in late May 2022. Previously, she worked as deputy assistant secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the State Department. Her previous experience included working in US embassies in Serbia, Cyprus, Georgia, and Uzbekistan.
It is worth noting that recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized the ambassador after she did not mention Russia in her statement regarding the Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih on April 4.
