Schumer says they need to fight against this disregard for judicial orders to protect democracy. He expresses distrust towards Trump regarding his commitment to respect judicial decisions.
The criticism of Trump's calls for the impeachment of Boasberg has been harsh, with even Chief Justice John Roberts stating that impeachment is not the answer to disagreement with a court ruling. Nevertheless, Trump continues to criticize nationwide judicial bans and urges the Supreme Court to intervene.
