Sensitive photos of wounded Ukrainians have sparked outrage on social media.

There has been outrage online over published photos of wounded Ukrainians following Russia's attack on Kyiv on April 24. These photos have faced criticism for their unethical nature. This was reported by 'Glavkom'.
Photographers Kostyantyn and Vlada Liberov published photographs on their Instagram showing the aftermath of the night shelling by Russia of Kyiv. One of the shots featured a wounded Ukrainian woman who was rescued from a house hit by a missile. The woman was in a nightgown and had wounds from the shelling. The photographers also captured the moment a nurse was talking to her.
On social media, people are outraged by these photos and consider them unethical. Observations regarding the publication were made by journalists, including Olga Khudetska, who stated that the Liberovs lack journalistic ethics and do not adhere to reporting traditions.
A similar reaction was seen towards the photos from famous Ukrainian photographer Yevhen Maloletka, who also published photos of a wounded woman and man pulled from the rubble. Medics had uncovered the man to check for injuries.
Users online are also pointing out the unethical nature of these photos and are asking Maloletka to either blur them or remove them from the internet. They are also reminding the photographer of past cases of unethical shoots.
Why did the photographers decide to publish such photos?
Kostyantyn and Vlada Liberov responded to comments following discussions on social media. They noted that they woke up after a sleepless night and, considering community feedback, deleted the photo of the woman.
They wrote in their Instagram story: 'We understand that this is a sensitive topic that has outraged a certain category of people. For us, the opinion of each of our audience is important. If we had not been so tired, we would have deleted the photo earlier.'
The couple also noted that the woman’s face was not visible in the photo, and the photo was not filtered by Instagram itself with its strict rules.
Regarding comments on the published photos of wounded Ukrainians, Yevhen Maloletka has not yet commented.
It should be noted that on April 24, Russia attacked Kyiv with drones and missiles. During these massive strikes, at least 12 people were killed, and more than 90 were injured, including children. Destruction was recorded in several districts of the capital.
U.S. President Donald Trump also expressed his outrage over the massive shelling of Kyiv, stating that he was not satisfied with Russia's strikes.
By creating ballistic missiles for shelling Ukrainian cities, Russia fills them with cluster munitions and shrapnel to increase casualties. The accuracy of such missiles is low.
