Coca-Cola vending machines will operate without a socket: details of the technology.

Coca-Cola plans to showcase vending machines at an exhibition in Osaka that will operate on electricity generated from hydrogen. A total of 58 such machines will be installed, operating without connection to the electricity grid.
The vending machines are equipped with a generator module containing hydrogen tanks. The chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen generates energy, which is stored in a battery. Additionally, the machines have a display that explains the working principle of the energy installation.
Unfortunately, it is not specified how long the machines can operate autonomously without replacing the tanks. However, they use batteries for energy storage.
This new technology will allow vending machines to be installed almost anywhere, but companies will need easy access for regular maintenance.
Previously, Coca-Cola announced a mass recall of its products due to high chlorate content.
