The Rapid Reaction Command 'Shkval' of the 7th Mountain Border Detachment celebrates 10 years since its foundation. The Mayor of Lviv, Andrii Sadovyi, congratulated the military personnel on the anniversary of its establishment.

As is well known, in recent months the border guards have been holding the defense at one of the hottest front lines — in the Serebryansky forestry. For heroism, professionalism, and dedication to Ukraine, over 120 fighters of 'Shkval' were awarded. Andrii Sadovyi also congratulated and presented awards to the border guards on behalf of the city.

'Today, the border guards are where Ukrainian land is and where it is the hardest. I will never forget the dawn during my last trip to Donetsk region. I do not know if there is another military unit in Ukraine that organizes anything at such a high level, no matter what they take on. It is a great honor for me, on behalf of the community of Lviv, to congratulate you on this holiday and thank you for your service. For risking your lives to save the lives of civilians.'
, said the Mayor of Lviv.

He also wished all border guards to return home with victory as soon as possible.

In addition, the city mayor presented 13 certificates of appreciation (each award also includes a cash prize of 15,000 hryvnias) and one Gold Coat of Arms of the city of Lviv.

It should be noted that recently Sadovyi proposed exchanging the remains of Soviet soldiers for captives. 355 remains were found on the 'Hill of Glory' in Lviv.

We also wrote that Soviet burials would be relocated from the Hill of Glory in Lviv. It is known that they will be placed in the Holoskiy Cemetery.

The Ukrainian border guards received well-deserved awards and congratulations from the Mayor of Lviv. Furthermore, the initiative for exchanging the remains of soldiers has contributed a pixel to the overall picture of the modern history of events.
