Night attack on Odessa - the scale of destruction becomes known.

On the night of July 19, Odessa once again became the target of a massive drone attack. The Russian shelling resulted in the shattering of more than 130 windows in the apartments of local residents.

Consequences of the attack on Odessa

According to the city council, as a result of the shockwave, 138 windows in residential buildings and entrances were damaged, as well as 12 balcony blocks. A total of 21 cubic meters of debris has already been removed. Communal services are responding quickly to the situation, working on installing new windows, cleaning up debris, and maintaining order in the area.

Approximately 200 utility workers and 12 pieces of equipment are involved in the cleanup efforts. They are using cherry pickers, dump trucks, excavators, street sweepers, and tractors.

A medical facility in Odessa has been damaged

In addition, the building of the Khadzhibey district primary medical care center was also affected by the Russian drone attack. Windows and doors of the medical facility have been damaged. Earlier, Russian drones attacked Odessa, resulting in one person killed and six injured. Operational headquarters have been established in the Kyiv and Khadzhibey districts to provide assistance.

Despite the scale of the destruction, the authorities and municipal services of Odessa are quickly responding to the situation, actively working to mitigate the consequences of the drone attack. Efforts to restore damaged buildings and provide assistance to those affected are ongoing and are under control.
